Jesus N. Matias

JESUS N. MATIAS, OFS, ME, PEM, PMP has over thirty years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in general construction and structural steel works. He currently works in property development, engineering project management consultancy, and as a lecturer at the University of the Philippines Institute of Civil Engineering and National Engineering Center. He also serves as a project management consultant for AMH Philippines, Inc. 

Engr. Matias is a registered mechanical engineer, certified PMP (Project Management Institute), and certified PEM (American Society for Engineering Management). He holds degrees from the University of the Philippines and the Asian Institute of Management. His expertise includes structural steel design, cost engineering, contracts management, and organizational development. 

He regularly lectures for various industries and is a frequent speaker for government agencies such as the Department of Public Works and Highways. Engr. Matias has also developed academe-industry internship programs for UP College of Engineering and authored a textbook on Engineering Economy.
