What is PMI Philippines Chapter?PMI Philippines Chapter is the PMI component representing PMI members in the Philippines. The local chapter was organized in 1996, and has over 650 members as of September 2021.

Who can be a member of PMI?Any individual who is interested in project management is welcome to join PMI.

Can our company be a member of PMI or PMI Philippines Chapter?Sorry, membership is only for individuals. Your company can certainly sponsor the membership of your project managers.

Are there any requirements to join PMI?None. Although many of our members work as project managers, or are involved with projects, there are no specific educational or professional requirements to become a member.

Are there any fees to join PMI?You can join as a PMI member for US$99 per year, plus a $10 application fee for new members. Membership is valid for 1 year. Annual renewals cost US$129. (Prices may change at anytime. Please refer to the published prices on www.pmi.org.)

What are the requirements to join PMI Philippines Chapter?You must be a member of PMI. Annual chapter dues are US$20. (Prices may change at anytime. Please refer to the published prices on www.pmi.org.)

How do I apply for PMI and PMI Philippines Chapter membership?Just follow these steps: Go to the PMI website (www.pmi.org). Create a New User account. Add Individual Membership to your cart. Add Philippines Chapter component membership to your cart. Checkout and pay.

I don't have/want to use a credit card for my membership fee. Can I pay at the PMI Philippines Chapter office?PMI Philippines Chapter does not process membership applications to PMI or to PMI Philippines Chapter. You may contact the PMI Asia Pacific Service Centre at customercare.asiapac@pmi.org for other payment options.

What are the benefits of joining the Philippines Chapter?Philippines Chapter members get all the benefits of PMI members (e.g., discounts on credential exams and renewals, publications, subscription to PM Network, etc). In addition, membership to the local chapter gives you the opportunity to meet and network with other project managers locally. The chapter sponsors several technical sessions annually, along with get-together and general membership meetings.
