Amin Leiman
Amin Leiman holds the following professional certifications: PMI-ACP®, PMP®, SDC®, SMC®, CPC®, and CISA®. A graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, USA with a master’s degree in information technology (IT).
Amin focused early in his career on people and process excellence. He is the author of Karate Project Management and Agile Done Well books. He provides consultation for many of the world's most successful firms, bringing to them the Agile organization management approach to produce sustainable and agile business practices. He speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese and Japanese. Additionally, he speaks Indonesian with native fluency.
Amin teaches project management and positive psychology (Appreciative Inquiry) courses in the US, Philippines, and Indonesia. He is a frequent guest speaker of the Asian Development Bank, Project Management Institute (PMI) Philippines chapter, and PMI Indonesia chapter. He was an adjunct professor at the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and Hawaii Pacific University for over 10 years.
He previously held several high-level managerial positions at Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (HEI) and KPMG US. One of his notable projects was working as a Cyber Security Specialist at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS), California, USA. Amin is the past president of PMI Honolulu, Hawaii, Chapter and ROTARY CLUB of Honolulu Sunrise, Hawaii, USA.
