Building Future Project Leaders: DLS-CS Band PMI Philippines Formalize Partnership

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) and the Project Management Institute (PMI) Philippines Chapter recently celebrated the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant step toward advancing project management education and industry collaboration.
Inspiring messages from Chancellor Benhur Ong, Vice Chancellor Angelo Marco Lacson, PMI Philippines President Marc Gorospe, and Board Member Charlie Valerio highlighted the shared vision of equipping students with globally relevant skills. The formal signing, photo sessions, and fellowship dinner reflected a strong commitment to partnership and future collaboration.
Beyond the ceremony, the initiative reached over 100 students through an online awareness session focused on career pathways and professional growth. Charlie Valerio highlighted the increasing demand and opportunities in project management, while Ryan Gan introduced the advantages of PMI student membership.
Adding a personal perspective, Paulo, a Benilde student, shared his PMI journey, alongside insights from Joselito, a former faculty member now serving in a national role. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A and networking opportunity, reinforcing the partnership’s mission to connect students with real-world opportunities and professional communities.
