Project Management Fundamentals - Tools &Techniques (F2F) Training

This workshop in Project Fundamentals is for Project Managers and anyone else who works in, or is planning to be involved in project planning, scheduling, budgeting &/or monitoring. It provides essential knowledge about Project Life Cycle processes common to any endeavor -- whether economic enterprise, infrastructure, industrial product, social, or community development – as well as best practice methodologies, tools & techniques for their management.

Initially, the course provides a rapid overview of the Project Management Institute's (PMIs) five (5) Project Management Process Groups, ten (10) Knowledge Areas, and 49 individual Processes in their “Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)—6th Edition.” The participants are then taught and -- through experiential learning exercises -- apply selected best practice methodologies for managing the first four process groups; with simulation games to reinforce understanding of Critical Path and Earned Value implementation & monitoring concepts.
