In this practical two-day workshop, we will cover agile approaches using the Agile Practice Guide that was published by Project Management Institute (PMI)® in 2017. Here’s what you’ll learn:
- A greater understanding of agile approaches used in many industries beyond software to respond to the VUCA (Vulnerable, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) world.
- A deeper understanding of the Agile Manifesto and how to apply them daily in your project

- A thorough understanding of the soul of agile: Ceremonies!
- A closer look at the two suggested implementation strategies: Formal vs Organic

- An informed choice on how to implement Agile successfully in your organization

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Amin Leiman, PMP®, CISA, SDC, SMC, CPC, is the Founder and President of BENDINO Premier Project Management Academy, an organizational development (OD) training firm that specializes in training project managers to successfully transition from Waterfall to Agile. As an educator and inspirer, he provides proven strategies in implementing Agile practices, principles, values and roles across industries.
Amin is currently assisting a large local government organization in Los Angeles, USA in their Agile transformation initiative. A big part of this effort is implementing change management strategies involving Agile ceremonies including Daily Standup Meeting, Sprint Planning Meeting, Sprint Review Meeting, and Retrospect Sprint Meeting.
Amin is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with 25 years of IT and business experience including his 15 years in the Big Four accounting firms in the US. His project and portfolio management spans across numerous industries including nuclear plant, electric utility, banking, manufacturing, and higher education. In 2015, he completed a Nuclear Cyber Security Assessment project at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, San Clemente, California, USA.
